Less than 72 hours after the loss to Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League, Haifa experienced a home disappointment when it ended in a 1:1 tie against Bnei-Yehuda.
Haifa’s first half deserved more than the one goal scored by Chen Azriel (31) who was called to the lineup several minutes before the game when scorer Vladimir Dvalishvili was injured in warm up.
Until the end of the first half and after it the Champion’s players had enough opportunities to establish their win, but misses on one hand and excellent ability by Ianogba, Bnei-Yehuda’s goalie, on the other, prevented it from expressing its’ advantage.
